Siblings Abby And Junjun Binay Had A Church Fight During A Debate

Siblings Abigail ‘Abby’ Binay and Junjun Binay are running against each other for the the mayoral post in Makati. Abby is incumbent mayor after her brother was dismissed by the Ombudsman for the c********n allegations in 2015.

On Saturday, April 27, the two siblings had a very public confrontation in the San Ildefonso Parish, Makati City when they exchange harsh words inside a church during a forum organized by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting for Makati City candidates.

The fight happened in the presence of the family patriarch, former vice president Jejomar Binay. He tried to appease the siblings.

Their quarrel started after Abby delivered her speech.

A few moments after Abby returned to her seat at the stage next to her brother Junjun, they were already seen arguing. At one point, Junjun bowed down before Abby.

When it was Junjun’s turn to hold the microphone, he said: “Pinandidilatan po ako ng kapatid ko.”

Abby said that that she took a verbal swipe at Junjun for dragging the name of her husband, Makati Representative Luis Campos, during the Q&A portion of the forum.

Abby recounted: “He didn’t even try to answer that question.

In a separate interview, Junjun denied doing so.
